AVE – High Speed Rail – Cuenca
Description
This contract was performed between the cities of Cuenca and Villar de Olalla, inserted in the AVE (Spanish High Speed Rail) connecting Madrid and Valencia. The intervention began by performing instrumented destructive drilling and the placement of tubes with sleeve type valves for subsequent injection of cement. These works were intended to create a soil with better geomechanical characteristics. Geotechnical prospection for the designing of works of art and later destructive drilling at piles to base injection were also performed.
