Description

The project presented to the Owner has resulted in the implementation of driven piles, in ductile cast iron, for the foundation of the new plant. Geological and geotechnical survey defines the horizon for the base of the piles, as being composed of "completely weathered granite (W5) and slightly weathered to moderately weathered (W2-3) with SPT values greater than 60 strokes" at depths between 12 and the 17 meters.
