Motorway of Marão

Description

This contract, inserted in the construction of Motorway of Marão concerns the Wall M4B. The base project contemplated the execution of Jet-grouting as treatment of foundation soils of an embankment in reinforced earth. A variant project consists in keeping the treatment by the Deep Mixing technology, but with the introduction of Cutter Soil Mixing.
The treatment consisted in the execution of 2,4 x1, 0 m2 panels armed with tubes N80 177,8 x 10 mm. The depth of treatment was variable according to the depth of the competent soil.
